Accommodation is available at the following hotels and can be booked at the same time as you register online for Conference. It is necessary to prepay one night to guarantee your reservation. Rates quoted below are GST inclusive and per room per night (one or two persons). Please note all of the below options will charge for all nights if cancellation is made within 30 days of booking. Check in 3pm and Check out 11am for all below options.

Awards dinner $138

Included: The full registration fee includes attendance to the conference programme as outlined, all daytime catering as outlined in the programme and a conference pack/name badge.  The Financial Advice NZ Awards Dinner is optional and not included. If you would like to attend the Awards Dinner the cost is $138 and includes your dinner, beverage and entertainment….select when registering for Conference.

Payments: Payment can be made by requesting an invoice or by credit card – via Payment Express DPS PxPay. Please note credit card transactions will be under the name The Conference Team. A 3% surcharge is payable if paying by credit card. MasterCard or Visa only is accepted.

Group discount: For every 10 full paying registrations, you will receive one complimentary registration (excludes Awards dinner). Please contact for the group discount.

Airport Transfers

A minimum of 45 minutes is required to transfer down-town, however can be much longer if peek time travel.  Options include Taxis, SuperShuttle or the Airport bus which also stops at SkyCity Hotel.


All insurance is the responsibility of the registrants. Financial Advice New Zealand, The Conference Organising Committee, The Conference Team and SkyCity Convention Centre accept no liability for death or illness or injury/accident to or financial loss by any person attending the conference, whatever the cause. Registration of the delegate will indicate acceptance of these terms.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

All cancellations must be in writing to The Conference Team. If, following your registration, you are unable to attend please notify the organiser as soon as possible to arrange a transfer of registration or a partial refund. Notification received by 22 July 2019 will incur a NZ$100 administration fee. For cancellations notified after 22 July 2019, refunds will be made at the discretion of the organising committee and paid at the conclusion of the conference. There will be no refunds made for late arrival or early departure from the conference.

Continuing Professional Development

Up to 10 code structured and Financial Advice New Zealand structured CPD hours are available to attendees:

Structured hours are able to be claimed where the session attended relates to an identified learning objective in your 2019 Professional Development Plan.

Members’ online CPD logs will be updated post conference. Non-member delegates will be emailed verification of their attendance at their indicated sessions.

Costs – All fees are quoted in New Zealand dollars and subject to GST – currently 15%. 
Privacy Policy – Payments are processed through the secure DPS Payment Express system. No credit card information / detail is stored by us and we are PCI compliant. Payments must be received prior to the commencement of the applicable conference in which a registration/payment is being made. Website Security – Payment security is managed through DPS for mutual security, encryption protection is managed with an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate, industry standard 128bit encryption software. 
Payments via Visa or Mastercard incur 3% merchant fee. Payment on your credit card statement will be showing as The Conference Team.
