Bring in the Experts: Rhiannon McKinnon to discuss the “State of the Investor Nation” report

This webinar will be presented by Rhiannon McKinnon from Kiwi Wealth on the “State of the Investor Nation report which provides a comprehensive understanding of Kiwis’ perceptions of their own wealth and confidence.

The report uniquely provides a snapshot of the wealth and wealth aspirations of Kiwis immediately prior to the pandemic and then again as New Zealand opened for business at Alert Level 1.

To give some insights on the report.

• – The survey found that 32% of New Zealanders felt less wealthy now than during the 12 months prior to February this year. Covid-19 has hit perceptions of wealth and confidence with high income earners who feel significantly less wealthier.
• – The gap between the haves and have-nots has also grown even though the gap stalled during lockdown. Young people, Maori’s, low income earners were already in the vulnerable position and not feeling wealthy or confident about their financial futures.

Rhiannon leads the Kiwi Wealth Strategy and Partnerships function which covers a broad remit of activities outside of business as usual, such as any potential mergers and acquisition work and the development of new business models and partnerships to compete in a digital world.
