Speakers

Andew Kelleher (JMI Wealth).  Andrew has worked in the financial markets for over 30 years starting as a money market trader for ASB Bank Treasury in 1987. By 2000 he held the position of Senior Manager – Risk. He assisted with the development of ASB Securities and of financial services to financial intermediaries. Andrew also had responsibility for the ASB Bank Private Portfolio Service (the ASB high net worth investment service).

In 2004 he pursued an independent career, consulting to the ASB Group and other financial organisations but returned to ASB Securities to act as Managing Principal and Managing Director in 2006. He subsequently returned to his role as a consultant and contractor to the financial advisory sector. Andrew joined JMI Wealth as a shareholder and director in 2008.

Andrew is currently a director and shareholder of Investment Services Group Limited, the holding company that owns JMI Wealth and Select Wealth Limited. He chairs the Select Wealth Management Board of Directors and is chair of the Investment Management Governance Committee. In addition, he is fund manager of the Clarity Fixed Income Fund and manages a number of high-net worth private portfolios.

Andrew Bascand, Harbour Asset Management.  Andrew has responsibility for all Australasian equity portfolios. Prior to joining Harbour Asset Management, Andrew spent 10 years with AllianceBernstein (NZ) as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager responsible for portfolio construction of all Australasian mandates. In that role Andrew and his team were consistently recognised by the industry for excellence in funds management. Andrew has more than 27 years investment management experience in roles with the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, Bank of England, AMP and with Merrill Lynch Global Asset Management (UK) as Managing Director of Global Equity Products. With Merrill Lynch, Andrew managed global equity accounts for pension funds in Japan, Sweden, Spain, Chile, England, the US, Germany and South Africa.

Sharon Zollner (ANZ Economist). Sharon joined the ANZ economics team in 2010 and became Chief Economist in late 2017. She started her career as a macroeconomist at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand in 1998, and has also worked at the central bank of Norway for two years, before moving to the New Zealand banking sector. Sharon holds a Master of Commerce from the University of Canterbury.

Sharon developed the ANZ Truckometer, an economic indicator based on traffic flow data, and writes the weekly ANZ Charts that Matter.
