The Member Advisory Committees offer expertise and insights across the financial advice sectors, while the Certification Committee utilises their deep knowledge and expertise to foster world-class professional development throughout our membership.
Member Advisory Committees
Member Advisory Committees (MAC’s) are core to the heart of being an adviser-driven, high-engagement professional body. Their function is to provide expertise, perspective and insight to the executive and board to guide their strategic thinking and decision-making. The collective expertise and experience of our Member Advisory Committees expand the aptitudes and capabilities of Financial Advice New Zealand as a whole.
Financial Advice New Zealand currently has three Member Advisory Committees that provide a voice for each of the financial advice sectors of our members; Financial Planning and Investment; Life, Disability and Health Insurance; Lending and Mortgage.
Member Advisory Committees contribute to the broad spectrum of our member value proposition including professional development needs of their adviser community, advocacy on regulations, and sector challenges and opportunities. They provide a vital connection between the members they represent and the executive team of Financial Advice New Zealand.
