Jan is an MBA alumnus from Waikato Executive Education and the former head of the Cyber Resilience Unit at the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) in the Government Communications Security Bureau. Her work at the NCSC was instrumental in alerting the New Zealand government to a deficit of cybersecurity awareness in businesses nation-wide.

Jan left the NCSC in 2021 to start her own Cyber Resilience company. Intelligensia addresses a gap in the market for cost-effective and accessible cybersecurity advice and support for small-medium businesses and For Purpose organisations.
