Financial Advice New Zealand Quality Service Mark

What is the Financial Advice New Zealand Quality Service Mark?
The Quality Service Mark is an evidence-based verification of a member’s professional standards. It is effectively a ‘warrant of fitness’, which is renewed every three years. The Quality Service Mark will be available for application - to all members of Financial Advice New Zealand - from early 2019.
The Quality Service Mark framework comprises six elements:
1. Professional promise
2. Regulatory compliance
3. Third party references
4. Professional development
5. Advice process review
Why the Quality Service Mark?
The Quality Service Mark provides a framework to evidence the professional standards of advisers who hold the Mark. Our intent is that, overtime, it will become a recognisable symbol of quality and standards - a symbol that New Zealanders can trust when seeking advice.
Who is eligible for the Quality Service Mark?
The Quality Service Mark is available to all members of Financial Advice New Zealand who meet the qualifying criteria.
