Bring in the Experts Weekly Webinar Series

How credit and affordability reports can enable a better customer experience and a more informed consumer

In this webinar Angus Luffman, Managing Director at Equifax New Zealand, will talk about the fundamentals of credit reports and scores along with the trends he’s seeing in the current credit environment.

Angus will also share some tips on how credit reports can help to improve your end customer experience and how clients can be proactive about the quality of their credit profile when applying for a loan.

Under the new CCCFA lending requirements, all aspects of a client’s affordability come under the microsc
ope, their current expenses profile and the existence of surplus / buffers are now fundamental to retail credit assessments and approvals. An unfavourable position on either of these aspects may lead to reduced lending or a declined loan application.

The good news is, as with credit reports & scores, having upfront information about Affordability allows advisers to play a key role in helping their clients to be proactive about knowing their financial position before applying for a loan.

This webinar covers:
– The fundamentals of a credit report and score, and the weight this carries for lenders.

– Data that can be used to help lenders to meet CCCFA requirements and Advisers help clients be prepared before applying for a loan

– Helping your clients understand, improve, and protect their credit reputation.
