This webinar will provide you with an overview of the new Trusts Act 2019 which took effect on 30 January 2021. This new Act was a significant overhaul of the current NZ Trust law system. The Act is designed to restate and clarify previous Trust law.

Most New Zealand Trusts are used to hold assets, and historically may not have always had a lot of involvement from Trustees. Trustees are now expected to manage their Trusts much more directly. There are increased obligations and responsibilities imposed by the Act.

This webinar will provide you with an overview of Trust Law changes and also ensure you have a better understanding of how the changes impact your clients.
